Greenville is at a crossroads. The accolades and growth we’ve had during Knox White’s tenure as mayor have been fantastic for our community. We are on the right track. However, this requires careful monitoring. If we aren’t cautious, we risk becoming another sprawling city like Atlanta.

MAINTAIN RESPONSIBLE GROWTH

Our society depends on being able to get from A to B. If we don’t have safe roads, we won’t continue to thrive. Delivering a well thought out traffic plan, in addition to alternative means of transportation, is essential if we are to remain competitive going into the 21st Century.

IMPROVE INFRASTRUCTURE

It’s too expensive for many in our community to find the home of their dreams. This is pricing out young people and families, the folks we need most to remain a vibrant and thriving community. But, we also have to balance growth with maintaining the distinct character of our neighborhoods, which make Greenville, Greenville.

DECREASE COST OF LIVING

SUPPORT TEACHERS

Teachers are the cornerstone of our society. Everyone can think back to the impact that a teacher had on their lives. However, all too often, teachers have become pawns in culture war fights used to divide and distract us. It’s time to let teachers be the professionals they are and focus on the most important task before them, educating our children.

The only profession that daily puts their lives and physical safety before that of others is our law enforcement officers. As such, officer pay and training needs to be increased so that we can hire and retain the best and brightest to serve and protect us.
